Grounds Maintenance

 Kilmaha offer a wide range of grounds maintenance services to the commercial sector, supporting both large and small sites throughout the West Midlands, West Country and Wales.  We have experience working across all sectors including council authorities, educational establishments, industrial complexes and sports & leisure facilities.

Vegetation Management

There are many reasons why managing vegetation may be necessary; to stay compliant with current legislation, the start of a project or to return a previously neglected site back to its former glory to name but a few.  All have their unique challenges and that’s where we come in.  With the knowledge, expertise and equipment we have at our disposal we can work with you to bring your project to fruition. 

Although we can complete any task in the area of vegetation management, some of our most popular services are; 

  • Invasive and noxious weed control.  Of particular concern are Giant Hogweed, Japanese Knotweed, Himalayan Balsam and Rhododendron Ponticum.  We have a range of machinery and have developed our own innovative methods to deal with all of the afore-mentioned species and many more. 

  • Access improvements.  Commonly we are asked to open out footpaths, bridleways and similar infrastructure to enable public or works access. 

  • Site clearance for development.  Usually this is the first step to getting a project underway and key to it’s success is timely and efficient operations. 

  • Restoring neglected sites.  We have been involved in many projects from community areas that have fallen into disrepair right through to working on Scheduled Ancient Monuments and SSSI’s that have huge historical significance and require a sensitive touch.
